Question 1

Is mail.tm a disposable email provider?

Accepted Answer

Yes. mail.tm is a temporary/disposable email service — addresses generated on it are meant for short-term use and should generally be treated as unreachable for signups.

Question 2

How many domains does mail.tm use?

Accepted Answer

We've linked 1 domain to mail.tm. Disposable providers commonly rotate through many domains to evade domain-based blocklists.

Question 3

What mail infrastructure does mail.tm run on?

Accepted Answer

Domains on mail.tm share mail infrastructure: MX hosts under mail.tm. That shared infrastructure is how we detect new rotating domains from this provider.

Question 4

How do I block signups from mail.tm?

Accepted Answer

Check the sender's email domain against BounceCheck's disposable-email API before accepting a signup — domains matching mail.tm's known infrastructure are flagged automatically.
